Appointments
All therapeutic work will be done using the Zoom platform.

Online Therapy
After an initial brief conversation on the phone we may agree on a date to start online therapy. I will send you a link before the session.

Sessions
Once we agreed to work together, the number and duration of the following sessions will be determined and fixed for the treatment.

Fees*
Basic rate hour session:  £65.00 (Concessionary rate negotiable for students and people on low or no income).
ISTDP based sessions: £90.00 for 90 minutes 
Fees are paid ahead of your session by bank tranfer. Credit cards are not accepted.
I review my fees annually so these are subject to change.

Audio-video recording of sessions
I will be recording our meeting ONLY with your permission and written consent. 
Recording our sessions allows me to carefully review what has unfolded during the sessions and examine the complex interaction that has taken place between the two of us. This is a very important learning tool for me. It can also make a very positive difference for you because it enables me with the help of my clinical supervisors to identify ways to better understand the process and to be more effective.
   
You are free to decline and this will not affect your getting therapy with me.  Also, if at any time during the treatment process, you wish to stop the taping we may do so and continue treatment.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel an appointment please do so within 48 hours. I check my messages at least once daily.

For the duration of our work together, I will maintain my commitment to your regular appointment, a time slot reserved for you and not transferable to any other person. For this reason, you will be charged the regular fee for any session missed or cancelled.
However if I am not available, you will not be charged.
When you take a break of two or more weeks, I will charge a fee of £25 per session missed.

If for some reason you are late, please understand that I must still follow my regular schedule and our session will end at its normal time.

Confidentiality
Our work together will be confidential. No information will be shared with a third party without your consent. ​I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

​I will be discussing our work and, if applicable, share the recording of a session with expert clinical supervisors in strict confidence: this is a standard requirement set down by the professional bodies (UPCA and UKCP) to ensure safe and ethical practice.
Your identity is never disclosed.

However, I am bound by law to disclose:
    - any intention to harm self or others,
    - when statutory obligations to disclose present (on balance of public interest)
    - if I am summoned as a witness in a court of law.
